If you’ve been following me for a while you’ll know that I have paid homage to “Cat’s Whiskers”. This episode is an adaptation of an episode from the 1960’s Batman where Batgirl was confronted by Catwoman with her henchmen. Catwoman then tied Batgirl up with Catwoman’s fiendish new invention. The tie, which is perhaps the most precise part of the whole show, is what makes it so special. Well, maybe not. This tie actually represents what the TV series was trying to portray. Naturally, I wouldn’t expect Hollywood studios or actors to do anything other than what they did. What would be the point? Plus, I cannot imagine Yvonne Craig having to deal with a bondage that is this difficult. I find the wire tightening and the forced head forward to be the most difficult aspects. The most difficult part of this tie is? It turns out, it is the crotch. This was actually very piano wire-like… Candle sailed through it. I hope you all enjoy their efforts…
